Andre Arbelaez

Andre Arbelaez is the President and CEO of the Hispanic C-Suite Corporate Council (HC3) and the SVP for Partners & Alliances for Softtek USA and President Emeritus of the Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC) and has won numerous awards for leadership in the Hispanic Community.

 

Andre Arbelaez is the President and CEO of the Hispanic C-Suite Corporate Council (HC3) and the SVP for Partners & Alliances for Softtek USA and President Emeritus of the Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC).  He is of Colombian heritage and was born in Detroit, Michigan and has been married for 23 years with two children.

 

Andre joined HITEC during its inception in 2007 and became HITEC’s President in 2011 and successfully completed his term in 2017. He has cultivated a premier group of relationships including CEO’s, CIO’s, CTO’s and both VP’s of IT and Diversity and Inclusion leaders from Fortune 1000 global companies. Andre is a leader in the Hispanic technology arena across the United States and was named by Latino Leaders magazine as the “Technology Diversity Guru”.

 

Andre’s daily role of running Partners & Alliances for Softtek USA has helped the 13,000 person firm, headquartered in Monterrey, Mexico and its USA HQ in Dallas, have its best years ever by winning large deals with some well-known brands across the USA.

 

He also serves as Oakland University’s (Rochester, Michigan) Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Information and Decision Sciences Department and is on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Hispanic Community Initiative.

 

Andre was named one of the “101 Most Influential Latino Leaders in 2017” by Latino Leaders Magazine.  Hewlett Packard Enterprises (HPE) also established a scholarship in 2017 under the “Andre Arbelaez Leadership Scholarship” for the HITEC Foundation.  He received the 2016 Alumni of the Year award from Northwood University in Midland, Michigan. Married with two children, he has continued his passion for learning by participating in leadership development programs at Georgetown University, Harvard Business School, CEB, and the Corporate Leadership Council.
